Our founder Thakurdas Choithram Pagarani, opened a small grocery store in Freetown, Sierra Leone in 1944 and set in motion a success story that continues to this day.

His uncompromisingly high standards and skilful management are the building blocks which the business has securely built what is today an extensive retail chain spanning continents.

Today, the company’s integration as manufacturer, distributor and retailer is what sets Choithrams apart from others. The group follows in Mr Pagarani’s footsteps and successfully manages the business.
